This week we'll finish Never Cry Wolf, and use it to talk about The Scientific Method.
Tuesday we do a Prezi on Sci. Method, and Wednesday you all will do a Scientific Method lab, where you hypothesize things about yeast.
Homework coming this week:
Monday-- read Ch 2 Section 1
Tuesday-- Sci Method Homework; essay on Never Cry Wolf (HW due tomorrow, essay due Friday). Look at Chrysalis under dissecting scope.
Wed-- lab; turn in Sci Method HW: READ CH 2 SXN 2.
Thur: Journal entry; discuss lab results; Statistics. Essay due tomorrow.
Fri: Essay due. Pond dip. Make sugar water for butterflies. HW: worksheet on statistics.
NEXT WEEK: We will finish up chapter 2 (short chapter!), take a test, and move on to some fun stuff on how the earth began.

calender updates available
Hi everyone,
Take a look at the calendar, which is mapped out through the next 3 weeks. Here's what's coming up: a movie, three pond dips, making a model, and an experiment with yeast. AND we've got our caterpillars to follow.
Note that you have a TEST ON CHAPTER 1 SEPTEMBER 13, and a TEST ON CHAPTER 2 SEPTEMBER 27. You also have a couple of quizzes and a handful of homework assignments thrown in there too.
Don't forget to research Stericycle and to identify some pond critters this weekend.
Get ready for a fun, busy month!
