THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE

Y'all, we have to rethink the turtle thing. Let's build our terrarium and talk about which animal to get.
To clarify, what I was thinking of was a tortoise. True turtles need more water space than we can create in a terrarium, which is what I have the basic supplies for-- so a water turtle is out.

Here are the problems with tortoises:

1. They live for THIRTY YEARS.
2. They get to be 10 inches in size! What would I do with a tortoise that size?
3. If we buy a store tortoise, we can't release it into the wild-- it might not know how to take care of itself. So I need to be able to care for it till I'm 77 years old.
4. Store-bought tortoises are EXPENSIVE!
5. we can look for one, but there's no guarantee that we'll find one.

so here are my favorite choices for a terrarium:

what do you all think?
